I can’t technically add this to my 2020 Advent because I read it in 2019, before it was published. However, I want to take this opportunity to tell you that I loved this story, and was fully engaged, start to finish. It’s a YA fantasy with compelling female characters and strong worldbuilding, and some intriguing twists and developments along the way.
