Wayne was a Youtube Original show and is now on Prime. From the moment I saw the trailer I just knew I had to see it.

There’s a mix of pitch black comedy and violence with some genuine tenderness thrown in that I knew if it could maintain that energy it would become a favorite. It does and it did.

Wayne is violent and funny and very human. It’s damn near a magic trick that some of these characters are so grotesque and so human at the same time. This comes down to the writing and the acting, both of which are top notch.

I’m not sure this show is for everyone but if it is you will absolutely love it. Watch the trailer for a good sense of what the show is. Give it a try, you’ll be surprised.
